Sally Eaton

Sally Eaton is a skilled biodiversity conservation professional with extensive experience in ecological research and conservation practice. Currently serving as a Biodiversity Conservation Officer at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh since October 2014, Sally has a solid foundation in plant taxonomy with a PhD in Ecology from the University of Glasgow. Prior roles include Research Assistant at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, where fieldwork focused on lichen communities, and a Conservation Officer at Plantlife International. In addition to research, Sally has contributed to media as a co-presenter for wildlife programmes on Channel 4 and worked as a programme researcher at BBC. Educational background includes a BSc in Biological Sciences with Honours in Ecology and an MSc in Plant Taxonomy from The University of Edinburgh.
