Ben Burton

Ben Burton has held the role of Consultant Ophthalmology at James Paget University Hospital, and currently serves as President of The Royal College of Ophthalmologists (RCOphth) since 2023. Ben also has experience as an Honorary Professor at the University of East Anglia starting in March 2020 and as a Visiting Professor from March 2017 to August 2020.

Ben Burton attended UCL from 1990 to 1993, where they pursued a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in the field of Medicine.
