Omar Mustafa

Omar Mustafa is a highly accomplished consultant physician specializing in diabetes and general internal medicine at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust since August 2013. In addition to clinical practice, Omar serves as an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at King's College London and holds the position of Training Programme Director for Endocrinology and Diabetes at Health Education England in South London. Omar's leadership extends to the Royal College of Physicians as an Associate Global Director for the Middle East and North Africa and to King's Health Partners Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Obesity as Co-lead for Clinical Transformation and Value-Based Healthcare. Omar also chairs the Joint British Diabetes Societies - Inpatient Care (JBDS-IP) and has held various prestigious roles throughout a distinguished medical career, which began with a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Tikrit, followed by significant qualifications from the Royal College of Physicians and Maastricht University.
