Mariette Naud-Betteridge has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations and roles. Mariette started their career in 2009 at COUPERIN.ORG as the Coordonateur du department des negociations documentaires and held this role until 2014. In 2014, they joined Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh as an Executive Assistant, a position they held until 2016. Since 2016, Mariette has been working at The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, initially as a Senior Executive Officer and currently as the Head of International Engagement.

Mariette Naud-Betteridge received their education from various institutions. From 2004 to 2008, they attended the École nationale des chartes and obtained a Diplôme d'Archiviste-Paléographe in Heritage Management. In 2014, they studied at the Chartered Institute of Linguists and earned a Diploma in Translation, focusing on Language Interpretation and Translation. Additionally, from 2008 to 2009, they pursued a Diplôme de Conservateur des Bibliothèques at Enssib, specializing in Library Management. In 2005 to 2007, they pursued a Master's degree at EHESS - École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, specializing in History.
