Hamad al Katheri

Hamad Al Katheri is the Chief CyberSecurity Officer at the Ministry of Tourism of Saudi Arabia since September 2021 and has held various prominent roles in cybersecurity. Al Katheri serves as an Advisory Board Member for both C|CISO and C|EH at EC-Council and is a Co-Chair Governing Body Member for the Middle East CISO Community at Evanta, a Gartner Company. Additionally, Al Katheri is a member of the GCC Board Directors Institute and the Cybersecurity Committee for the Royal Commission for AlUla. Active membership in the Saudi Association for Information Security underscores Al Katheri's commitment to the field. Previous experience includes serving as Vice President of Enterprise Risk & Information Security at Zain KSA and Cyber Security Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Al Katheri holds multiple advanced degrees and certifications from prestigious institutions, including a Senior Executive Leadership Program from Harvard Business School and a Chief Information Security Officer Certificate from Carnegie Mellon University.
