Lawrence Eta has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 24 years. Lawrence is currently working as the Vice President of Digital and Analytics at The Royal Commission for AlUla, where they lead the implementation of digital strategies and infuses digital DNA into the organization. Prior to this, Lawrence served as the Chief Technology Officer at the City of Toronto, where they provided vision and leadership for the development of innovative technology solutions and oversaw the city's connected community/smart city program. Lawrence has also held positions such as the Global Director of Customer Success at Distrix Networks Ltd, Vice President of Technical Architecture at Maximus, and Director of Business and Technology Solutions at MAXIMUS (formerly Themis Program Management and Consulting). Lawrence's expertise in technology and strategy implementation has contributed to the success of various organizations throughout their career.
Lawrence Eta has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Technology Management from Staffordshire University and a Higher National Diploma in Business Information Technology from Luton College of Higher Education. Lawrence also holds a National Certificate in Business and Finance from City and East London College. Additionally, Lawrence has completed an executive Master of Business Administration (eMBA) from Lansbridge University and a Master of Management (MM) from American Sentinel College. Lawrence has obtained the ITIL v3 Foundation certification from APMG International in 2003. Lawrence has also completed various programs including a Finance Program and a Leadership Program at Queen's University in 2008 and 2009 respectively. In 2018, they completed an Executive Program with a focus on Municipal Leadership at the Schulich School of Business - York University.
