The Royal Hashemite Court (RHC), known historically as Al Maqar (the Headquarters), is considered the political and administrative link between His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Constitutional Authorities (Government, Legislative and Judicial), The Armed Forces and The Security Services. It also acts as the primary institution responsible for handling the relationship between His Majesty and the Jordanian people. Established at the time of the creation of the Jordanian state, the RHC is the official body that oversees the preparation and implementation of His Majesty’s local and international activities. Moreover, the RHC provides the necessary political, administrative and diplomatic support to the executive, legislative and judicial branches of the state in order to enable them to fulfill the tasks entrusted to them by the Constitution.
