James Wren

James Wren is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in fundraising, marketing, and corporate partnerships within the non-profit sector. Currently serving as the Director of Development & Corporate Partnerships at the Royal Horticultural Society since October 2023, James also acts as a Trustee for both Essex Wildlife Trust and Sense about Science. Previous roles include Director at ZSL America from October 2013 to October 2023, and Executive Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Engagement at the Zoological Society of London from September 2009 to October 2023. Earlier in their career, James held various leadership positions at the Scout Association and was a Trustee at London Play. Academic credentials include a degree in Historical Studies from Goldsmiths, University of London, and certification as a Prince2 Practitioner.
