Gordon Murray Pprias

Gordon Murray PPRIAS has extensive experience in the field of architecture and design, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees and former President of The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland since May 2003. Gordon holds the position of Board Trustee at the Scottish Civic Trust from August 2022 and has been the Director of Gordon Murray Architect since April 2020. Additionally, Gordon has served as a Visiting Lecturer at The Manchester Metropolitan University and as a Visiting Professor at the University of Strathclyde, contributing to academic excellence until June 2023. Previously, Gordon was a Partner at Ryder Architecture and played key roles as Chairperson of the Standing Council of Heads of Schools of Architecture and Founding Director of Gordon Murray Architects. Gordon's leadership experience extends to serving as President of the Glasgow Institute of Architects from April 1998 to April 2000. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Strathclyde.
