Lotta Serning

Lotta Serning is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in various governmental and organizational roles. Currently serving as Kommunikationschef at Kungliga biblioteket National Library of Sweden since March 2022, Lotta previously held the role of Chef at Naturvårdsverket from January 2019 to March 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Kommunikationschef at Regeringskansliet, Kulturdepartementet (February 2016 - January 2019) and as Biträdande kommunikationschef/Senior Advisor at Regeringskansliet, Näringsdepartementet (August 2010 - February 2016). Lotta began a career in communications at Näringsdepartementet, where responsibilities involved coordinating communications across various policy areas from August 1999 to December 2009. Additionally, Lotta has experience in project management, having worked as a project manager at BNG Sweden and as a communications project leader for the Stockholm Water Festival and Sollentunamässan.
