Daniel has over 17 year's experience working in various Human Resources roles across a number of commercial sectors. He is currently the Head of Human Resources at Unum a leading global employee benefits and insurance company.
Daniel is a member of the leadership team at Unum and is responsible for ensuring the business meets its strategic plans through successfully managing change. Daniel also plays a significant role in leading the HR function. He provides business advice on people matters such as the attraction and retention of staff, learning and development programmes which drive high-performing teams, and the development of initiatives that drive inclusion, engagement and wellbeing.
Daniel also supports charity work with the Open Church in Guildford and uses his skills as a qualified Executive Coach helping those going through career transition.
In his role as Governor Daniel aims to share his HR knowledge and commercial experience whilst supporting the school develop its strategic thinking.
