Annmarie Wallis

Annmarie Wallis is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the arts and education sectors. Currently serving as the interim CFO/FD support at the Royal Shakespeare Company since November 2021, Wallis also contributes as a Defined Benefit Pension Scheme Trustee for the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra since May 2022 and as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee for England Netball until September 2024. Previously, Wallis held the position of Director of Finance & Resources and Company Secretary at CBSO from June 2009 to January 2022, where significant financial achievements included eliminating historic deficits and negotiating VAT rebates. Earlier roles include Group Finance & IT Director at Scholastic, Finance & IT Director at Reed Exhibitions, and Finance Director at AT & T Istel Ltd, among others. Wallis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Accounting from The University of Sheffield and completed secondary education at Rugby High School for Girls.
