Dan Avery

Dan Avery is a seasoned stage technician with extensive experience in technical management and support for various live events. Currently employed at the Royal Shakespeare Company since December 2015, Dan previously worked as a freelance AV technician for corporate events and conferences from 2008 to December 2015. From August 2004 to December 2015, Dan served as the Tech Services Coordinator at the University of Birmingham Guild of Students, overseeing the technical aspects of diverse events. Additionally, Dan held the position of Technical Theatre Manager at C Venues during the 2010 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, managing all technical operations for a major venue. Early career experience includes casual crew work at CBSO. Dan holds a BMus(hons) in Conducting from the University of Birmingham, completed in 2004.
