Sarah Skerratt is the Chief Executive at the Royal Society of Edinburgh, where Sarah also holds the title of Director of Programmes and Chief Executive Designate. With a background in rural development, Sarah previously served as a Board Member at RURAL HOUSING SCOTLAND and Scotland's Regeneration Network. Sarah also worked as a Rural Adviser to Audit Scotland, where Sarah focused on "rural-proofing" audit work. A former Professor at Scotland's Rural College, Sarah's expertise lies in policy engagement. Sarah holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Rural Development from the University of Edinburgh.
