Helene Barnekow

Helene Barnekow is an experienced executive with a robust background in leadership and governance across various organizations. Currently holding the position of Chair at Storytel and Chairwoman at Mindler since March 2024, Barnekow is also a Fellow at The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and a Partner at Gaia Leadership as of December 2023. Additional roles include Board Member at Handelsbanken and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the UK, with the latter also serving as Vice Chair. Barnekow has been associated with GN Group as a Board Member since March 2013, where responsibilities include Chair of the Remuneration Committee and Chair of the Nomination Committee. Formerly, Barnekow was the CEO of Microsoft Sweden from December 2018 to April 2022 and served as a Board Member at Voyado until May 2024. Barnekow holds a Master's degree in International Business from Lund University, attained between 1985 and 1989.
