Dr. Dianne M. Dawson Daniels is a leadership and management scholar – practitioner who has an earned Doctorate in Business Administration, a Masters in Business Administration, and a Bachelor’s Degree from top universities. Most recently in the position of Associate Professor of Leadership Studies at Loyola University Chicago, her teaching and consulting interests are in organizational leadership and management. A Public Voices/Thought Leadership Fellow, she has published opinion pieces related to the workplace and holds certification in Strategy & Management from The American Management Association.

Dr. Daniels leverages her experience as a corporate finance executive and teaching faculty to develop unique solutions to organizational performance problems. Her knowledge stems from major leadership study and years of work for major corporations such as Hewlett-Packard, Agilent Technologies, Sprint and Sprint PCS, Conseco, and ABN AMRO/LaSalle Bank. Her experience working in industries such as High-Tech Manufacturing, Telecommunications, and Financial Services in areas such as Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations, Financial Systems and Performance Reporting allows her to bring a broad perspective to issues of performance management, organizational development and strategy.

She has held senior management responsibilities across regions and developed teams to support functional areas within organizations that include Research Development, Product and Business Development, Sales and Marketing, Information Technology, Manufacturing Operations and Corporate Shared Services such as Human Resources, Corporate Legal and Finance. In addition she is a trained Six-Sigma DMAIC Greenbelt with process improvement experience.

Dianne is a SAOL Coach and Consultant, has received certifications from ILCT as a Registered Leadership Coach, and from Organizational Systems Inc in 360 and Polaris’ leadership competency model. Dr. Daniels specializes in issues of Organizational Performance Management, Strategy Development and Executive Coaching, serving as an advisor to boards of directors, executive directors, and presidents of national non-profit and for-profit organizations.

As a consultant, Dr. Daniels has advised organizations large and small in areas of individual performance, strategy and implementation; partnering with entrepreneurs, professional organizations, and corporate entities at various stages of business growth.
