Michelle Smith is the IT Manager of Special Projects and Programs for Innovative Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, for the University of Cincinnati (UC). She has more than 6 years experience working in nonprofits and higher education.
Michelle is certified as a Strategic Agile and Organizational Health Leadership (SAOL™) consultant, and is a certified Project Manager through Xavier University. As a SAOL™ consultant, Michelle leverages her role as Manager of Special Projects and Programs with UC’s Enterprise Shared Services’ division to improve overall organizational health and performance through the development of effective solutions to drive alignment within IT@UC’s overall vision. Specializing in behavioral organizational health, strategic planning, and project implementation, Michelle provides oversight and direction to incorporate the most effective solutions while maintaining the overall goals of projects.
Prior to working for UC, Michelle worked as a Program Manager at The Ohio State University. Michelle’s business and project management experience has covered a wide variety of roles in higher education, including business analytics and procurement, marketing, and recruitment. She also holds a degree in English.
