Andrew Thomas

Andrew is a Certified Personal Trainer and Professional Coach. A keen sportsman throughout his younger years and still playing football (sorry Soccer!), Rugby, and Golf as well as competitively throwing Javelin. He was never a runner.

English born but Australian through choice these last 9 years. Having chosen to leave the big corporate life he now runs his own Coaching and Fitness business in Perth, Western Australia pursuing his true passion; helping others achieve things they never dreamt possible.

With a history of two knee and two hip operations whilst preventing spinal surgery for a large posterior herniation through rehabilitation and patience, it is no wonder Andrew first found TRE for Injury Prevention over 5 years ago now! He also, therefore, understands all too well the frustration and challenge that injury brings. Joining as a member, becoming a Captain, and then joining the Coaching team to do what he loves and feels compelled to do which is to “give back”.

Falling into running when he could not even run a mile around his block back in Shropshire, UK; the result of putting his career ahead of his own health led to him tipping the scales at 271lbs/126kg. Andrew’s epiphany of being a better version of himself for his young son kickstarted his pursuit of health and fitness. In doing so he quickly developed an appreciation for the escape and release that

running can provide for their mental health and the daily grind.
