Geoff Thomas

Geoff Thomas has extensive work experience in the field of software development and reliability engineering. Geoff started their career in 2007 as a Senior Software Developer at eChalk, where they were responsible for OOP web-application software development, server administration, project management, and staff training. After working at eChalk for nearly a decade, Geoff joined Logic Software in 2016 as a Lead Software Developer, focusing on c#, asp.net, MVC, IoC, bootstrap/knockout for API, framework, and websites development. In 2018, they joined The Safeguarding Company as a Senior/Lead Site Reliability Engineer, taking charge of performance, reliability, and application security using C#, Azure, Docker, Devops, and performance monitoring tools. Geoff also conducted penetration testing and actively advocated for core SRE principles.

Geoff Thomas obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Swansea University from 2003 to 2006.
