The Sainsbury Laboratory
Adeline Harant is an experienced researcher with a strong background in plant pathology and metabolomics. Currently serving as a Senior Research Assistant at The Sainsbury Laboratory since July 2017, Adeline previously held the role of Laboratory Technician. Adeline's doctoral research at The James Hutton Institute focused on the responses of the Phytophthora infestans metabolome and transcriptome to mock infection and chemical inhibition. Additional experience includes demonstrating for undergraduates at The University of Dundee, conducting a master's thesis project on chicory roots at UMR-USTL-INRA, and internships involving media preparation and microbiological analysis. Adeline holds a PhD in Plant Pathology/Phytopathology from the University of Dundee and the James Hutton Institute, along with several master's and undergraduate degrees in relevant fields from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology.
