Alexandria Thomas

Alexandria Thomas serves as the Volunteer Services and Organizational Engagement Manager at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston since October 2018, where strategic and operational efforts are led to enhance a diverse volunteerism program. Additionally, Alexandria contributes as a Scholarship Committee Member for Federally Employed Women, focusing on fostering continual learning for women. As Program Volunteer Supervisor at The Salvation Army of Greater Houston, management of social service volunteer programs is orchestrated. Experience includes roles such as Summer Art Studios Volunteer Coordinator at Southwest School of Art, Graduate Marketing Assistant at Seattle University, and various other positions in arts and community service organizations. Alexandria holds a Ph.D. candidacy in Transformative Social Change from Saybrook University, an MFA in Arts Leadership from Seattle University, and a BA in Art History from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
