Damon Winters is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in international business and economic development. Currently serving as the Director of International Business & Economic Development at The Salvation Army World Service Office since January 2019, Damon focuses on empowering the financial independence of regional Salvation Army commands and enhancing the sustainability of their programs through innovative strategies. Prior to this role, Damon was the Regional Director of Development at Wheaton College, where relationship-building with alumni and strategic investment in mission were key responsibilities. Additional experience includes roles at Accion Chicago as a Development Officer and as a Divisional Project Coordinator for The Salvation Army. Damon holds advanced degrees from institutions including the Wisconsin School of Business and the University of Chicago, along with a certificate in Non-Profit Organizational Management from Kellogg Executive Education.
