Maria Andrawis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in humanitarian assistance and program management across diverse regions, including sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Currently serving as a Technical Advisor for Livelihoods at The Salvation Army World Service Office since January 2023, Maria manages sustainable agriculture and livelihoods projects. Previously, Maria was a Field Director at Samaritan's Purse, where responsibilities included overseeing operations in active conflict zones, and held various roles focused on program implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in International Economics and Middle East Studies from Johns Hopkins SAIS and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Affairs from The Johns Hopkins University.
