Haven Rittershofer

On-duty Systems Navigator at The San Diego LGBT Community Center

Haven Rittershofer is an experienced professional with a diverse background in biomedical engineering and community-centered peer support. Currently serving as an On-Duty Systems Navigator at The San Diego LGBT Community Center since October 2022, Haven has previously worked as a Case Manager at the Union of Pan Asian Communities and as a Peer Specialist at the Community Behavioral Health Research Foundation. Prior experience includes roles as a Process Development Engineer at Illumina and a Process Engineering Intern at Genentech, where technical skills in data analysis and process improvement were developed. Academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, where significant research was conducted on CRISPR-based systems. Haven is dedicated to empowering marginalized communities impacted by mental health systems and is also recognized for founding the Davis Athlete Ally, advocating for LGBTQIA+ inclusion in athletics.
