Roxana Popescu is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in reporting and writing across various media platforms. Currently serving as a Money Reporter for The San Diego Union-Tribune since July 2022, Roxana focuses on financial topics and the economy in San Diego. Prior to this role, Roxana worked as an award-winning freelance reporter for National and Regional News Media from July 2010 to July 2022, contributing articles on diverse subjects including real estate and healthcare, with work featured in The New York Times. Roxana also held the position of Investigative Reporter at inewsource from May 2020 to May 2022, where coverage centered on the COVID-19 pandemic and social inequities.
