Ruby Gaviola is an experienced web developer and designer with a solid background in digital media and web technologies. Currently at the Los Angeles Times, Ruby has been involved in web maintenance and email coding since February 2019, managing several properties under Cal Times and launching approximately 20 products annually. As a freelance web designer since September 2016, Ruby has also contributed to the San Diego Union-Tribune as a web developer/designer, enhancing the user interface and collaborating with editors to achieve product visions. Prior experience includes a junior web developer role at EPMG, where Ruby developed responsive templates and improved user engagement through innovative web solutions. Ruby holds a Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts with a focus on Web Design and an Associate's Degree in Graphic Design from Platt College, San Diego.
