Madeline Wells

Madeline Wells is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in food reporting and arts and culture journalism. Currently serving as a Senior Food Reporter at SFGATE since March 2019, Madeline has also held positions as a Food & Drink Reporter and Editorial Assistant. Prior to that, Madeline worked at Telegraph Media Company as an Associate Editor, where responsibilities included managing online content for Oakland and Alameda magazines and curating arts and culture events. Madeline's career began with an internship at East Bay Express, followed by several roles at The Daily Californian, culminating as a Senior Arts and Entertainment Reporter. Additional experience includes internships in marketing and communications, coupled with a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies and English from the University of California, Berkeley.
