Jean-Michel Clarens is an experienced lead concept artist, currently working at The Sandbox since January 2022, with a diverse background as a freelance Game Artist specializing in 2D art since July 2012. Previous roles include Game Artist and Game Designer positions at mad.studio, where responsibilities encompassed artistic direction and game design for mobile titles such as Hamster Break and Duck Tap. Jean-Michel has also served as a trainer and head of Game Art at IPESAA from October 2012 to June 2018, and previously managed projects at SECTEUR13, specializing in multimedia game design solutions. Education includes studies at ESMA and a degree in Arts du Spectacle from Université de Montpellier Paul-Valéry.
