Carissa Zimmerman

Carissa Zimmerman has a diverse work experience in the field of product management. Carissa is currently working at The Savings Group as the Director of Product Management. Prior to that, they were a Senior Product Manager at the same company. Before joining The Savings Group, Carissa worked at Ad Hoc LLC as a Lead Product Manager and Senior Product Manager. Carissa also gained experience at Xero as a Product Manager. Additionally, Carissa worked at SambaSafety as a Product Manager, where they were responsible for managing customer interactions and leading multiple Scrum teams. Carissa started their career at ProBuild Holdings as an IT Business Analyst, where they resolved complex issues and played a key role in implementing the Oracle ERP system. Carissa's early career included being a Co-Founder and General Manager at Camden Group of Companies, where they built e-commerce bookstores and optimized inventory management processes.

Carissa Zimmerman attended the University of Northern Colorado from 2004 to 2006, where they focused on Business Management as their major field of study. Carissa then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Information Systems and Business Analytics at Colorado State University Global from 2015 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Carissa obtained a Business Analysis Executive Certificate from the John Cook School of Business at Saint Louis University in August 2013. Most recently, in September 2020, they achieved the Certified Scrum Professional certification from the Scrum Alliance.
