Sally Webster FCIPD has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 1990, they started their career as the Graduate Recruitment and Training Manager at Leyland DAF. Sally then moved on to become a Senior HR Officer at the same company. In 1994, Sally joined Optima Personnel Services Ltd as an Executive Director, where they specialized in developing lean manufacturing techniques. Sally designed and delivered the Lean Enterprise development program for clients. In 1996, they became the Head of HR at Bertelsmann Music Group, where they introduced a mentoring scheme and enhanced the quality of recruits. Sally then joined AOL UK as the HR Director in 1998, where they established the HR function and developed HR strategy and operations plans. Moving forward, Sally became the HR Director at Bertelsmann Multimedia Group in 2000, where they provided senior HR services to various dotcoms. Sally later joined Guardian News and Media as the Main Board HR Director in 2003 and was responsible for delivering the HR strategy for 1500 staff. In 2008, Sally became a self-employed HR consultant and executive coach, working with blue-chip clients and delivering programs for customer experience, leadership development, engagement, and collaborative working. Sally joined The Financial Ombudsman Service in 2016 as the Director of HR and OD and later became the HR and OD Director at Lighthouse Leaders Ltd in 2018. Currently, Sally is the Director of Talent and Culture at The Savoy.

Sally Webster FCIPD has a diverse education history. In 1983-1986, they attended Hull University and obtained a BA Honours in English Literature. In 2007, they completed a Coaching Development program. Sally Webster also has additional qualifications and training in various fields. Sally is a Qualified Practitioner in Emmergenetics and has attended a Neuro-Linguistic Programming Master Practitioner program at ITS. Moreover, they have participated in conferences such as CIPD Leading the way Conference and International HR Conference. Sally Webster has also attended lectures on neuroscience and completed Robert Holden enneagram programmes.
