Basic Skills Teacher at School District of the Chathams

Catherine Orosz has a diverse work experience history. Catherine began their career as a Field Technician at Severn Trent Laboratories Ltd in 2003, where they worked until 2006. Catherine then worked as an Environmental Scientist at Atlantic Environmental Solutions, Inc. in 2006. From 2007 to 2010, Catherine served as a Research Assistant at New York University. In 2011, they worked as a Student Teacher at the School District of the Chathams. In 2014, they joined the Rockaway Borough Board of Education as a Science Teacher until 2016. Currently, Catherine is employed as a Basic Skills Teacher at the School District of the Chathams, starting in 2020.

Catherine Orosz pursued their education with dedication and passion. Catherine began their academic journey in 1999 at Muhlenberg College, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Art in 2003. Seeking further education, Catherine enrolled at Saint Elizabeth University from 2010 to 2012 and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Education. Catherine'sfocus during this time was on Elementary Education and Special Education. Additionally, in 2002, Catherine engaged in a Study Abroad program at The University of Queensland, broadening their knowledge and experiences in an international setting.
