Vijay Patel

Vijay Patel is the Director of IT at The Scion Group. Vijay has over 10 years of experience in the IT field and has held various positions at companies such as Abbott, Apple, and Color Portraits Inc.

Patel began their career at Color Portraits Inc. in 2007 as a photography/layout/print production specialist. Vijay worked there for 5 years before moving on to Apple in 2012. At Apple, they worked as an AppleCare Senior iOS Advisor for 2 years before joining Abbott in 2014.

At Abbott, Patel worked as part of the Global IT Service Desk team. Vijay was responsible for providing IT support to employees and contractors, fixing PC and application issues, and troubleshooting hardware and peripheral problems. Vijay also created tickets in the Remedy ITSM ticketing system and resolved VPN connection issues.

In 2016, Patel left Abbott to join The Scion Group as the Director of IT. In this role, they are responsible for leading the IT team and ensuring that all IT needs are met. Vijay has successfully implemented various IT initiatives at The Scion Group and has helped the company grow its IT infrastructure.

Vijay Patel has a Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts and Animation from the Illinois Institute of Art. Vijay also has a Certificate in Advanced Character Animation from Animation Mentor.

Vijay Patel reports to Rob Bronstein, President. They are on a team with Kimberlee Boyd - Director, Learning & Development, Christina Poore - Regional VP, Operations, and Kenneth Funk - SVP, Operations.
