James Cooper

James Cooper is an experienced education professional currently serving as a Commerce and Business Studies Teacher and Master In Charge of Debating at The Scots College since March 2021. With a solid background in coaching, James has facilitated classes in debating and public speaking for Speaking Schools Australasia from September 2018 to January 2025, and coached the Year 11 Debating team at Meriden School from April 2018 to November 2021. Additionally, James has entrepreneurial experience as a small business owner, having operated Video Transfers Wollongong and LAW Records, the latter collaborating with Nicholas Kyriakoudes to promote local artists. James's educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Finance and Marketing) from The University of Sydney Business School and a Master’s degree in Secondary Education from the University of Technology Sydney.
