Gemma Walton

Gemma Walton is an experienced media and communications professional with a diverse background in public relations. Currently serving as Media Manager for The Scottish Government since July 2024, Gemma has previously held multiple senior roles at Marie Curie UK from January 2014 to June 2024, including Senior PR & Communications Manager and Senior Media and Public Relations Officer. Prior experience includes serving as Press Officer at Children's Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) from April 2009 to January 2014 and as an Account Executive at 3x1 Public Relations from March 2006 to December 2008. Gemma holds an MSc in Public Relations from the University of Stirling and a BA Joint Hons in Film Studies and Dance from Middlesex University.
