Gurjit Singh

Gurjit Singh is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head of Investments in the Investment Unit at The Scottish Government since April 2012. In this role, Gurjit Singh has successfully led the development of the InvestScotland online investment portal and driven the national project pipeline initiative to attract private capital. Additionally, Gurjit Singh has overseen engagement with the UAE government to foster bilateral trade and investment opportunities. Prior experience includes positions as a Senior Policy Advisor focusing on international trade and investment initiatives, as well as serving as the Senior Media Manager for the First Minister of Scotland, managing strategic communications and public relations. Gurjit Singh previously held leadership roles as President of both NUS Scotland and the University of Strathclyde, and worked in public affairs at the British Red Cross. Gurjit Singh holds a BA Hons in Politics from the University of Strathclyde.
