Head Of Improving Lives For People With Care Experience Unit at The Scottish Government

Gwen Davidson currently serves as the Head of Improving Lives for People with Care Experience Unit at The Scottish Government since December 2021. Prior to this role, Gwen held the position of Chief Product Owner for the Tribunals and Office of the Public Guardian at the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service from October 2019 to December 2021. Experience includes serving as a Trustee for Health in Mind Scotland, Senior Manager at Dundee City Council, Programme Manager for the MS Society, and Walking for Health Project Manager at The Ramblers. Additional roles featured Head of Programme Management at Time to Change, Project and Resource Manager at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, and multiple positions at the Department for Children, Schools and Families and the Department for Education and Skills, including Grant Manager and Team Leader as well as Every Child Matters Programme Manager. Gwen Davidson earned an M.A. (Hons) in English and Classics from the University of St Andrews between 1993 and 1997.
