Ieva Morrison

Ieva Morrison is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product ownership and policy development within the Scottish Government since January 2006. As a Product Owner, Ieva has successfully led initiatives such as the Warm Scots Welcome Digital Ecosystem and the Social Security Scotland Data Service, ensuring effective data delivery and stakeholder collaboration. Previous roles include Deputy Unit Head for the CMO Rape and Sexual Assault Taskforce, where strategies were implemented to enhance forensic medical services, and Mainstreaming Equality Lead, focusing on embedding equality in strategic policy areas. Ieva also has a background in educational policy, having led efforts to improve educational outcomes for looked after children. Earlier career experience includes editing for the Baltic News Service in Lithuania. Ieva holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Vilnius University.
