Jamie C.

Jamie C. serves as the Deputy Head of the Scottish Government France Office/First Secretary and as an EU Policy Officer/Second Secretary, focusing on health, social affairs, social security coordination, and international development since February 2020. Prior experience includes roles within the Civil Service Fast Stream, such as Scotland Employer and Partnerships Review Manager and Human Development Policy Advisor, where Jamie led initiatives against Female Genital Mutilation and coordinated government responses related to the World Bank's Human Capital Index. Additional responsibilities involved project management for JobCentre Plus site divestments and EU-exit policy coordination at HMRC. Jamie holds a Master of Science in Russian, East European & Eurasian Studies and a Master of Arts in French & Spanish from the University of Glasgow.
