Lizzie Edwards

Lizzie Edwards currently serves as the Interim Team Leader and Senior Policy Officer at The Scottish Government since July 2022. Prior to this role, Lizzie held multiple positions within the Royal College of General Practitioners from July 2017 to July 2022, including Policy and Public Affairs Manager and various officer roles. Experience also includes a position as a Parliamentary Researcher at The Scottish Parliament from October 2016 to July 2017 and roles as a Caseworker and Senior Caseworker in the House of Commons. Lizzie began a career in public service as a Volunteer with the International Citizen Service in 2014. Educational background includes a Politics MA(hons) from the University of Glasgow, completed in 2013.
