Manish Joshi

Manish Joshi currently serves as a Non-Executive Director for the Scottish Government, supporting the Permanent Secretary and Executive Team since April 2024. Additionally, Manish holds the position of Professor of Practice at the University of Strathclyde, leading the Social Innovation Cluster and engaging with various stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem. Manish also has a Non-Executive Director role at Wheatley Group, Wheatley Solutions, and Lowther Homes. Previous significant positions include CEO of Strathclyde Students' Union from August 2016 to July 2024, and Chief Executive at Newark Care from September 2013 to July 2016. Manish has been involved in various organizations as a Board Trustee, Co-Chair, and ED&I Ambassador, focusing on equality, diversity, and inclusion. Educational qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Strathclyde and a BA in Economics and Finance from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
