Neil Gray

Neil Gray currently serves as Cabinet Secretary for NHS Recovery, Health & Social Care, and previously held the position of Cabinet Secretary for Wellbeing Economy, Fair Work & Energy in the Scottish Government since January 2022. In addition, Neil Gray has been an MSP for Airdrie & Shotts since May 2021 and was a Member of Parliament for the same constituency from February 2015 to November 2021. Prior roles include Constituency Office Manager for Alex Neil MSP and Campaign Manager for Alex Neil's Scottish Parliamentary election campaign. Neil Gray began the career in politics as a Press & Research Intern with the Scottish National Party (SNP) and has experience in broadcasting as a Contract Producer & Reporter at BBC Radio Orkney. Educational background includes a BA (Hons) in Politics & Journalism from the University of Stirling.
