Patrick Kirkham

Patrick Kirkham currently serves as the Head of Land Reform at The Scottish Government since October 2022, following a role as Team Leader for the Emissions Trading Scheme and Carbon Markets. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Policy Analyst at The Treasury in New Zealand from January 2020 to June 2022, and holding various positions including Senior Policy Advisor and Policy Advisor at HM Treasury from September 2016 to January 2020. Earlier, Patrick worked in the Outreach department of the University of Cambridge's Admissions Office from January 2013 to August 2015, and completed a Policy Internship in the Prudential Policy Unit at the Bank of England in the summer of 2014. Patrick holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in History and Philosophy of Science and Technology from the University of Cambridge, where studies were completed from 2014 to 2015, and also graduated from St Mary's Menston High School in 2011 after studying at the University of Cambridge from 2011 to 2014.
