Rachel Ellison

Rachel Ellison has extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Scientist for Health at The Scottish Government since November 2020. In this position, Rachel manages meetings, diary schedules, travel arrangements, and briefing materials to ensure the efficient operation of the Chief Scientist Office. Prior to this, Rachel worked as an HR Recruiter at The Scottish Government, where responsibilities included managing a high volume of vacancies during a period of significant organizational change. Rachel's background also includes positions such as Catering Manager at Hibernian Football Club, Platform Administrator at Aegon, and HR Pay Administrator with the Scottish Government. Additionally, Rachel participated in the Employer Mentoring Programme at Queen Margaret University and attended a Women in Banking and Finance seminar to enhance career development. Education includes a BA Hons in Business Management from Queen Margaret University.
