Roy Brannen

Director-General, Net Zero at The Scottish Government

Prior to this role, Roy Brannen was Chief Executive of Transport Scotland from 2015.

Roy has led at a senior level in various operational and delivery roles on transport and infrastructure since joining the Scottish Government in 1999. Before this, he worked in local government.

He is a Chartered Civil Engineer and a Fellow of both the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation. Roy is also a graduate of the Major Projects Leadership Academy (MPLA) and is currently SG Head of Profession for Project Delivery.
