Sharon McMeel is a seasoned professional in event management and project coordination, currently serving as the Business & Events Manager and Cultural Secretary for The Scottish Government since July 2022. As the Director of Weddings & Events for Sharon Mc Meel, Your Day, Your Story since 2007, Sharon has extensive experience in planning and executing various events. Previous roles include Events Manager at the British Embassy Dublin, Senior Project Manager at Irish Horizons International Conference & Incentive, and Special Events Project Manager at the University of Limerick. With a strong educational background that includes a BA in Management Practice from the University of Limerick and diplomas in Information Technology and Web Design, Sharon combines expertise in project management, customer service, and event coordination.
