Steven Paxton

Steven Paxton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy development, community engagement, and organizational capacity building. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Officer in the Directorate of Skills and Lifelong Learning at The Scottish Government since September 2017, Steven previously held various roles, including Business Development Manager at Impact Funding Partners and Acting Programme Manager for VSO Tanzania. Steven's background also includes consultancy work, project development in youth employment with the Aga Khan Foundation UK, and strategic planning at Scottish Enterprise. With a robust academic foundation including a Doctorate in Practical Theology from the University of Glasgow, an MSc in Enterprise, and an MBA in Organizational Development and Strategy, Steven is well-equipped to drive impactful change in various sectors.
