Prior to this role, Tammy worked as a Primary School Teacher at Shelby County Schools for a brief period from November 2016 to June 2017. Notably, in a long tenure from October 1985 to February 2015, Tammy held various positions including Flight Attendant, Flight Service Manager, Training Specialist, and International Flight Attendant during the merger of Continental Airlines and United Airlines. Tammy earned a Bachelor of Education degree with a focus on Kindergarten/Preschool Education and Teaching from Louisiana Tech University, completing the program in 1985.
