Laura Jane Hayes

Laura Jane Hayes is an experienced fashion professional with a solid background in design and retail. Currently serving as a Studio Assistant at Selfridges since August 2021, Laura also freelances as a Seamstress at The Seam, offering made-to-measure pieces and maintaining technical skills while bartending. Past experience includes roles as a Retail Sales Associate at both Fendi and Reiss, as well as a Fashion Design Assistant at JACK IRVING, where contributions to the design process and hands-on tasks like pattern cutting and embellishing were key responsibilities. An early career internship with Sorcha O'Raghallaigh provided foundational experience in studio assistance. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion/Apparel Design from the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, completed in 2018.
