Lulu Ramadan is an experienced investigative reporter currently working at The Seattle Times and serving as a Distinguished Fellow at ProPublica since August 2021. Additionally, Lulu co-curates the Local Matters Newsletter through Investigative Reporters and Editors, promoting local journalism across the country. Prior experience includes a position as an investigative reporter and breaking news reporter at The Palm Beach Post from May 2015 to August 2021. Lulu also held the role of Vice President of Programming for the Florida chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists from September 2017 to January 2021, coordinating training and support for journalists in Florida. Lulu holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Florida Atlantic University, earned in 2015.
