Alexandra

Alexandra Ma has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Alexandra is currently working as a Senior Human Resources Generalist at The Second City since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at LCBO from January 2021 to March 2023, where they held roles such as HR Advisor, Associate HR Advisor, and HR Benefits Administrator. Before joining LCBO, Alexandra worked at Infrastructure Ontario as a Recruitment Coordinator from August 2017 to October 2017 and as a Human Resources Coordinator from October 2016 to March 2017. Alexandra also gained experience as a Human Resources Coordinator at Toronto Research Chemicals from October 2014 to April 2016 and as a Human Resources Coordinator at Numeris (formerly BBM Canada) from June 2014 to September 2014. Alexandra started their career at Rouge Valley Health System as a Recruitment Assistant in June 2014. Prior to that, they worked at Ontario Clean Water Agency as a Junior Human Resources Consultant from September 2012 to August 2013 and as a Junior Human Resources Assistant from May 2012 to August 2012.

Alexandra Ma has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Honours Psychology with a specialization in Human Resources Management from the University of Waterloo. Alexandra attended North Toronto Collegiate Institute for high school. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from OpEx Learning in January 2022, a Workplace Mental Health Leadership Certificate from Queen's University in April 2021, and a Student Leadership Certificate from the University of Waterloo in April 2012.
